According to the plan, by 2020, guangxi will have initially built a scientific, ecologically friendly, clean, low-carbon, intensive and efficient green transportation system. By the end of 2020, guangxi multimodal transport freight volume, 1.5 times higher than "twelfth five-year" final build guangxi to the southwest of China, north China and the association of south-east Asian nations (asean), Europe and other places more than 6 multimodal transport routes, qinzhou port and fangcheng port built more than seven countries multimodal transport hub, such as cultivating five or more of the influence of national leading enterprises in the multimodal transport. By 2035, guangxi will have formed a new pattern of transportation development that matches the carrying capacity of resources and the environment and is in harmony with the ecology of production and life.
The ecological protection project of transportation infrastructure is one of the priorities. Guangxi will vigorously carry out activities to create green highways, green waterways and green ports, carry out comprehensive environmental improvement in road areas along highways and waterways, and actively promote ecological and environmental protection design. We should improve ecological protection engineering measures, rationally select engineering structures, building materials and construction techniques to reduce ecological impact, and minimize the amount of filling and excavation. We will carry out greening operations in traffic corridors, vigorously carry out greening and beautification operations along highways and waterways, and improve their ecological functions and landscape quality. Joint tourism and other departments will improve the functions of transport service facilities and tourism services to promote integrated development.
Guangxi will also accelerate the establishment of a green transport system standard system, scientific and technological innovation system, supervision and management system, and increase financial support, promote the transport industry to use green credit, green bonds and other innovative financial tools, expand financing channels for green transport development, encourage and support the development of transport energy conservation and environmental protection industry.
